Our brief was to conceptualise and deliver two events celebrating the Creative Partnerships project delivered by North West educational charity Curious Minds.
The events (in Lancashire and Merseyside) were to highlight the successes of the schools that Curious Minds had been involved with, showcasing the work that the organisation undertook and to act as a vehicle for its projects going forward into 2012 and beyond.
We created a ‘Curious World’ in which the delegates became the children. The overall look and atmosphere of the events reflected the work of Curious Minds and the imagination of the children the charity works with.
Outside of the conference room, the venues, event dressing and entertainment were based around the idea of a children’s party with balloons, goody bags, party games and party foods including ‘curious fruits’, sticky cakes, traditional ice cream and fun teatime snacks.
Delegates took part in a number of creative arts workshops throughout the day and we worked with local schools to give a group of children the opportunity to attend and document the event with photographs, video footage and live blogging.
